Born and raised in Logan, Utah, founder Carson Field grew up loving the outdoors.

As a student in Utah State University's Outdoor Product Design and Development program, he saw a gap in affordable gear in his early 20s. Naomi Market is the answer: reasonably priced outdoor gear for Northern Utah, in the heart of Cache Valley.

The name comes from the Naomi Wilderness and Mt. Naomi, a peak in the northern Wasatch where Carson spent his formative years exploring.
